Claims (1)
- ポンプハウジングと該ポンプハウジング内の軸受
孔に回転自在に支承された回転軸の先端に有する
ベーンとの間に配設されたシールリングと、この
シールリングと対向位置する上記軸受孔の孔縁に
配装された環状の保持部材と、この保持部材を構
成する内筒部と外筒部とで形成された環状凹部内
において該環状凹部内を水密的に封止した状態で
収容配置され、かつ一端が上記シールリングに固
着された伸縮性シール部材と、この伸縮性シール
部材の外周に巻装されていて、上記シールリング
を上記ベーン側に弾発付勢するコイルスプリング
とを備えたメカニカルシールにおいて、上記保持
部材の内筒部に、該内筒部の外周面から所定間隙
をもつて上記伸縮性シール部材を支持する環状の
支持部材を遊嵌したことを特徴とするウオータポ
ンプのメカニカルシール。
