[Detailed explanation of the invention] This invention is based on the tip insulating member (hereinafter referred to as beak).
This invention relates to a rigid endoscope sheath that is replaceable.

Generally, in a rigid endoscope, high-frequency cautery forceps are inserted into the forceps insertion channel and the affected area is excised while observing the endoscope. As a preventive measure, a beak is placed at the tip of the endoscope insertion tube to maintain the distance between the endoscope insertion tube and living organs, since leakage of high-frequency current can cause electric shock or burns to the patient or operator. It is set up. Specifically, as shown in FIG.
A beak 6 made of a heat-resistant and insulating material such as polycarbonate resin or ceramic is fixed to the tip of the insertion portion 5 of the sheath into which the sheath can be inserted. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, when operating the electrode 4 to excise the affected area 7, the end of the beak 6 is burned out and broken, and the electrode 4 comes into contact with the insertion part 5 of the metal sheath, etc. There was a risk of accidents such as electric shock.

For this reason, it may become impossible to continue using the rigid endoscope for the next treatment.
Beak 6 had to be replaced and repaired from time to time, and it was not easy to replace it.

For this reason, the operator must always have several rigid endoscopes on hand, and the repairer must have a beak 6 firmly attached to the distal end of the sheath insertion section 5 with adhesive or the like. There was an inconvenient problem in that the work of peeling off and replacing the material was extremely troublesome.

The present invention was developed in view of these problems, and the sheath tip and beak are detachable and replaceable and can be firmly engaged, so that even if the beak burns out, it can be easily replaced with a spare beak. An object of the present invention is to provide a rigid endoscope sheath that solves maintenance problems.

Next, an embodiment of this invention will be described with reference to FIG. 3 and subsequent figures. A plurality of through holes 11 are formed at a predetermined location at the distal end of the resect sheath 10, but the number is arbitrary. On the other hand, the beak 12 includes a main body 13 formed into a cylindrical shape from the above-mentioned insulating and heat-resistant material,
The main body 13 is provided with a tubular body 14 formed at the rear end thereof and formed into a tubular shape using a mold made of metal such as stainless steel or polycarbonate resin. Pipe body 14
is provided with a tongue piece 16 which is provided with a plurality of parallel cuts 15 in the axial direction and is given elastic force in the outer circumferential direction, and is provided with a tongue piece 16 on the outer circumferential side of the tongue piece 16 to form a plurality of parallel cuts 15 in the through hole 11. A corresponding and engageable projection 17 is formed. When the tubular body 14 of the beak 12 configured in this manner is inserted into the resect sheath 10, the protrusion 17 of the elastic tongue portion 16 engages with the through hole 11 of the sheath 10, thereby establishing a secure connection.

If the beak 12 is burnt out and needs to be replaced, use tapered pliers 18 to push the protrusion 17 engaged in the through hole 11 inside the tube body 14, as shown in FIG. , bending the tongue portion 16 inward to release the engagement between the through hole 11 and the protrusion 17;
Remove the beak 12 from the resect sheath 10.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and for example, the beak 12 and the resect sheath 10 may be engaged and disengaged using any means such as an elastic member such as a spring or a ball clip method in the engagement portion. As mentioned above, according to the present invention, since the beak is easily and quickly attached to and detached from the sheath, even if the beak burns out, the operator can easily replace it with a spare beak, thereby reducing the cost. There is no need to prepare a large number of rigid endoscopes, and since the beak itself has a simple configuration, it can be produced at low cost, and maintenance costs can be kept low.
