本発明はリニアモータの直線的推進力を利用し
鋼板等の磁性体を搬送すると共に、該リニアモー
タの電磁力により制動停止せしめる制動停止方法

板等の搬送に際しては慣性力が大であり、所定位
置への適確な停止手段としては不充分で、適確な

新規な停止方法を提供せんとするもので、以下図

ニアモータという)で、昇降装置Bを備えてい
る。この昇降装置Bは例えば電動機により回動さ
れるねじ機構により直線往復運動を行うアクチユ
エータ、或いは図示の如きエアーシリンダ等適宜
手段を用いることができ、常時は前記搬送用リニ
アモータM1と同様にローラR上の被搬送物Wに
対し所要の間隙Caを存せしめるも、停止に際し
ては上記昇降装置BによりリニアモータM2を上
昇せしめ僅少な間隙即ち制動用間隙Cbとするも
ので、該リニアモータM2の前方適所には被搬送
物の通過を検知するための光電管式等適宜のセン
