Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は両端が開口したプラスチツク製円筒の
一方の端部にプラスチツク製底板を取り付ける方
法及びその装置に関するものである。
従来、プラスチツク製円筒の一方の端部にプラ
スチツク製底板を取付けてプラスチツク容器を得
る方法としては第1図a及びbに示すように円筒
1の内壁又は外壁と嵌合する底板3の嵌合部に接
着剤2を塗布して円筒1と底板3とをシールし円
筒容器としていた。或いは第1図cのように円筒
1が嵌合する溝を設けた底板3に円筒1を嵌め込
み、高周波極板4及び4′の圧着により高周波シ
ールしていた。これらの容器は接着剤を使用した
場合は接着剤が内容物に移行したり、接着性の耐
久性が低く容器として使用に耐えなかつたり、接
着剤を塗布する工程も必要であり又接着のバラツ
キもあり生産性が悪るかつた。又第1図cのよう
な高周波シールでは設備が複雑でありメンテナン
ス上も問題があり、シール部の強度のバラツキが
多く品質の安定したものは得られなかつた。
本発明はこれらの欠点を解消した溶着部が強固
であり、バラツキの少ない品質の安定した生産性
の良好なプラスチツク製円筒容器の底付けの方法
及びその装置を提供するものである。
即ち本発明の方法は、プラスチツク製円筒の内
径よりやや小さい外径を有する底板保持台にプラ
スチツク製底板を載置し、該円筒を該底板と溶着
させるための溶着部を上部にはみ出させて該底板
保持台に嵌合させながら載置台に載置し、目的の
円筒容器の底とほぼ同形の形状を有する折曲げ用
金型にて溶着部のみが加熱されるように圧接して
加熱し溶着部を内側に折曲げ、溶着装置に備えた
高周波溶着端子と該底板保持台との間に高周波電
流を流し、底板と円筒の溶着部とを圧着して溶着
させ、エア吹出し口を備えかつ円筒容器の底部と
ほぼ同形の形状を有する冷却用金型によりエアを
吹出し、加熱された溶着部分を冷却することを特
徴とするプラスチツク製円筒容器の底付方法であ
る。
又本発明の装置は、 (A) 下部側には、プラスチツク製円筒を載置する
ための円筒載置台及び該円筒載置台の上部に設
置され、該プラスチツク製円筒の内径よりやや
小さな外径を有し、プラスチツク製底板を載置
するための底板保持台を等間隔に少なくとも
各々6ケ設けられている回転可能なテーブル、
及び (B) 上部側には、該底板保持台各々に対応して、
少なくとも下記の装置を具備していることを特
徴とするプラスチツク製円筒容器の底付装置で
ある。
(a) プラスチツク製底板を1枚ずつ底板保持台
に載置する装置、 (b) プラスチツク製円筒を1個ずつ底板保持台
に嵌合させ、円筒載置台に載置し、底板と溶
着させるための溶着部のみを該底板保持台の
上部にはみ出させた状態にまで該円筒を該底
板保持台に押し込むための装置、 (c) ヒーターを内蔵しかつ目的の円筒容器の底
部とほぼ同形状を有し、プラスチツク製円筒
の溶着部を加熱し、内側に折曲げるための凹
型の折曲げ用金型、 (d) プラスチツク製円筒の内側に折曲げられた
溶着部とプラスチツク製底板とを溶着するた
めの円環状の高周波電極及びそれに対応する
底板保持台に高周波電極を備えた溶着装置、 (e) 円筒容器の底部とほぼ同形状の凹型であつ
て、プラスチツク製円筒とプラスチツク製底
板との溶着部分を直接冷却するためのエア吹
出し口の付いた冷却用金型、及び (f) 底付られたプラスチツク製円筒容器をテー
ブル外に取出すための装置。
ここにおいてプラスチツク製円筒はシートを適
当な長さに切断して丸めて端部に接着又は溶着し
て作成するか、押出機にて円筒に押出したものを
適当な長さに切断して作成したものでよいし、或
いは特公昭50−33516号公報に記載の装置を用い
て作成したものでもよい。底板は円筒と同じ材質
及びほぼ同じ厚みのものが好ましいが互いに溶着
するものであれば何でもよい。本発明に使用する
プラスチツクシート又は押出し円筒品は特に延伸
処理を施こさない一般のシート又は押出し円筒品
である。プラスチツク製円筒の溶着部を加熱する
温度は使用プラスチツクの軟化点と同じかその附
近の温度が好ましく、熱風又は赤外線ヒーター等
による加熱でもよいが、本発明においてはヒータ
ーを内蔵した溶着部を折り曲げ装置も兼ねる金型
が好ましい。プラスチツク製円筒にプラスチツク
底板を取付ける溶着手段としては超音波溶着、高
周波溶着、インパルスシール及びヒートシール等
があるが生産性の問題や品質安定のため高周波に
よる方法が望ましい。円筒及び底板の厚みは容器
として腰があり、溶着可能であれば特に限定はな
いがスコストの観点から0.1〜1mmが好ましい。
又溶着後溶着部分は内部にひずみが生じやすく、
そのまゝでは変形するため、冷却が必要であり、
冷却時間はプラスチツクの材質と厚みによつて異
なる。その冷却方法は冷却水をとおすことのでき
る板又は金型によつて圧接させるか、或いは圧縮
空気を吹きつけてもよい。又本発明に使用される
プラスチツクはポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)、ポリ酢
酸ビニル(PVAC)、ポリ塩化ビニリデン
(PVDC)、ポリスチレン(PS)、ポリビニルアル
コール(PVA)、ポリアミド(Ny)、ポリプロピ
レン(PP)、ポリエステル(PET)、ポリカーボ
ネート(PC)、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体ケン
化物(EVAL)、等が好適であり、又はこれらの
少なくとも2種が相互にコートされたもの、或い
はラミネートされたものも含まれる。ラミネート
の例はPE/PVC/PE、PP/EVAL/PP、PP/
EVAL/PE、PS/EVAL/PS等の3層シートが
ある。
本発明により得られた円筒容器は他のまだ開口
している側にふたを用意すれば開閉自由なふた付
容器としても使用できるし、又密閉容器としても
使用できる。又該円筒容器は他の容器のふた(例
えば埃除け用)としても使用できる。
本発明の方法を図面に従つて1例を詳細に説明
する。
第2図aにおいて、プラスチツク製円筒8の
内径よりやゝ小さい外径を有する底板保持台5
にプラスチツク製底板7を載置する。
第2図bにおいて、プラスチツク製円筒8の
載置台6に該円筒8を底板保持台5に嵌合させ
ながら載置する。この場合載置台6の高さ位置
は使用する円筒8の溶着部13が底板保持台5
の上部よりはみ出た状態になるよう予じめ決め
ておく。
第2図cにおいて、円筒容器の底とほぼ同形
の形状を有する折曲げ用金型9にて溶着部13
のみが加熱されるように圧接して加熱し溶着部
13を内側に折曲げる。
第2図dにおいて、高周波溶着端子10を備
えた溶着装置14と底板保持台5に高周波電流
を流し底板7と円筒の溶着部13とを圧着して
溶着させる。
第2図eにおいて、エア吹出し口12を備え
かつ円筒容器の底部とほゞ同形の形状を有する
冷却用金型11によりエアを吹出し加熱された
溶着部分を冷却する。冷却が終れば円筒の片方
へ強固に底付けられた第3図のようなプラスチ
ツク製円筒容器が得られる。
次に本発明の装置について第4図〜第7図によ
つて1例を説明する。
回転可能なテーブル21の上に円筒8を載置す
る円筒載置台23と円筒を嵌合させ円筒を支えか
つ底板7を載置する底板保持台27が設けられて
いる。底板保持台27の上部から円筒載置台23
との距離は目的とする容器の高さに一致させ、予
じめ決めておく。底板保持台27の長さは目的と
する容器の高さより小さく、使用する円筒の内径
とやゝ小さな外径で、上下部分がこの径を有して
おればよく、中間部分は支持棒的なものであつて
もよい。この底板保持台27は少なくとも6ケ等
間隔に設置されており、各々の底板保持台27に
対応して上部には以下に述べる機能を有する装置
が設置されている。
第5図の右側図においては、上下運動するシ
リンダー33に吸盤36を備え、該シリンダー
33は左右運動するシリンダー34に連結され
ている。吸盤36が下動し底板用ケース30よ
り底板を1枚取り出し上動する。次いで吸盤3
6をシリンダー34により左(図の上で、以下
同じ表現をする。)へ底板保持台27の真上ま
で移動する。吸盤36が下動し、底板保持台2
7に底板を載置し、上動する。そしてシリンダ
ー34により右へ移動し元へ戻る。
第4図及び第6図の右側図においては、円筒
8を底板保持台27の右横側に移動させるため
のベルトコンベア31、左右移動可能なシリン
ダーに円筒8を左へ移動するときに必要な円筒
8の外側をほゞ均等に押出させるための移動案
内具15を備え、円筒8が底板保持台27の真
上に載置されるように移動案内具15とほゞ同
形状の円筒止め具16を底板保持台27の左に
備え、及び円筒8が底板保持台27の真上に載
置されたとき円筒8を底板保持台27にはめこ
み円筒載置台23に達するまで円筒8を下へ押
し込むための押し板22を備えた上下動するシ
リンダー35を具備している。ベルトコンベア
31により円筒8を立たせた状態のまゝ所定の
場所に供給させ、移動案内板15により円筒1
ケを底板保持台27の真上に載置する。移動案
内板15が元に戻つたら押し板22が下動し円
筒を底板が載置されている底板保持台に嵌合さ
せながら円筒載置台23まで押し込み元へ戻
る。この場合円筒の溶着部は底板保持台27の
上よりはみ出た状態になつていなければならな
い。
第7図の右側図においては、底板保持台27
の真上にあつて底板保持台よりはみ出した円筒
の溶着部を加熱し内側に折曲げるためのヒータ
ーを内蔵しかつ目的の円筒容器の底部とほゞ同
形状を有する凹型の折曲げ用金型24を上下動
するシリンダー17に連結具備している。底板
保持台27には底板が載置され、円筒が嵌合さ
れかつ円筒の溶着部が上からはみ出た状態にあ
つて、折曲げ用金型24が下動し、該溶着部を
加熱し、内側に折曲げ、該溶着部と底板とを底
板保持台27とで圧接する位置まで下動し元へ
戻る。この時点では円筒と底板とで未だ溶着さ
れていないが円筒容器形状となつている。
第5図の左側図においては、折曲げられた円
筒の溶着部と底板とを溶着するための円環状の
高周波電極(図示せず)を備えた溶着装置25
は上下動するシリンダー18に備えられ、底板
保持台27の真上に設置している。溶着装置2
5が下動し、円筒容器形状となつた円筒と底板
を設置した底板保持台27と溶着装置25の高
周波電極とで円筒の溶着部と底板とを圧着しな
がら高周波電流を流し、発振させることにより
底板を円筒に溶着させ円筒容器を得る。次いで
溶着装置25は元の位置へ戻る。こゝにおいて
全ての底板保持台27には円環状の高周波電極
(図示せず)を予じめ設置してある。
第6図の左側図においては、円筒容器の底部
とほゞ同形状の凹型であつて直接溶着部を冷却
するためのエア吹出し口の付いた冷却用金型2
6を上下動するシリンダー19に備えている。
底板保持台27には底付けされた円筒容器があ
つて、溶着部分が未だ温度が高く歪みやすい状
態となつているため冷却用金型26を下動させ
圧縮されたエアーを吹きこみながら冷却し矯正
させて、変形のない円筒容器とする。又冷却用
金型は水冷式であつてもよく、この場合該冷却
用金型を圧接し円筒容器を冷却し矯正してもよ
い。
第7図の左側図においては、上下動するシリ
ンダー20に吸盤37を備え、該シリンダー2
0は左右に移動するシリンダー28に連結され
ている。吸盤37が下動し底板保持台27に嵌
合されている円筒8に底板7を底付けした円筒
容器を底板保持台27よりつかみ上げ吸盤37
を上動する。次いでシリンダー28により左へ
移動させ排出板29の上にきたら吸盤37を下
動し、円筒容器を排出板29に載置し吸盤37
を上へ戻す。更にシリンダー28により元の位
置へ吸盤37を戻し完了する。
以上一工程について説明したが各工程が断続的
に行われているのでけなく、各工程は全て同時に
行われているのである。従つて1工程が完了する
と底板保持台が設置されている回転可能なテーブ
ルは1/6回転左へ移動し、連続的に円筒容器は製
造されるのである。
本発明において使用するシリンダーはエア式で
も油圧式でもどつちでもよく、又上記の装置にお
いて底板を底板保持台に載置する手段と円筒を底
板保持台に嵌合する手段とは順序が入れかわつて
も差しつかえない。
本発明により得られる円筒容器の出来高として
は使用するプラスチツクシートの厚み、材質によ
つて異なるが900ケ/Hまでは可能である。本発
明により得られた底付けされた円筒容器はこのよ
うに連続的に生産ができ接着剤等による接着でな
く溶着されているので品質のバラツキも少なくコ
ストの低い容器が容易に得られる。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 プラスチツク製円筒の内径よりやや小さい外
    径を有する底板保持台にプラスチツク製底板を載
    置し、該円筒を該底板と溶着させるための溶着部
    を上部にはみ出させて該底板保持台に嵌合させな
    がら載置台に載置し、目的の円筒容器の底とほぼ
    同形の形状を有する折曲げ用金型にて溶着部のみ
    が加熱されるように圧接して加熱し溶着部を内側
    に折曲げ、溶着装置に備えた高周波溶着端子と該
    底板保持台との間に高周波電流を流し、底板と円
    筒の溶着部とを圧着して溶着させ、エア吹出し口
    を備えかつ円筒容器の底部とほぼ同形の形状を有
    する冷却用金型によりエアを吹出し、加熱された
    溶着部分を冷却することを特徴とするプラスチツ
    ク製円筒容器の底付方法。 2 (A) 下部側には、プラスチツク製円筒を載置
    するための円筒載置台及び該円筒載置台の上部
    に設置され、該プラスチツク製円筒の内径より
    やや小さな外径を有し、プラスチツク製底板を
    載置するための底板保持台を等間隔に少なくと
    も各々6ケ設けられている回転可能なテーブ
    ル、及び (B) 上部側には、該底板保持台各々に対応して、
    少なくとも下記の装置を具備していることを特
    徴とするプラスチツク製円筒容器の底付装置。 (a) プラスチツク製底板を1枚ずつ底板保持台
    に載置する装置、 (b) プラスチツク製円筒を1個ずつ底板保持台
    に嵌合させ、円筒載置台に載置し、底板と溶
    着させるための溶着部のみを該底板保持台の
    上部にはみ出させた状態にまで該円筒を該底
    板保持台に押し込むための装置、 (c) ヒーターを内蔵しかつ目的の円筒容器の底
    部とほぼ同形状を有し、プラスチツク製円筒
    の溶着部を加熱し、内側に折曲げるための凹
    型の折曲げ用金型、 (d) プラスチツク製円筒の内側に折曲げられた
    溶着部とプラスチツク製底板とを溶着するた
    めの円環状の高周波電極及びそれに対応する
    底板保持台に高周波電極を備えた溶着装置、 (e) 円筒容器の底部とほぼ同形状の凹型であつ
    て、プラスチツク製円筒とプラスチツク製底
    板との溶着部分を直接冷却するためのエア吹
    出し口の付いた冷却用金型、及び (f) 底付られたプラスチツク製円筒容器をテー
    ブル外に取出すための装置。
