に接続される推進管との間に介装された矯正用油
圧ジヤツキによつて管路の修正を行う様にしてい
る。ところが、従来は先導管に後続する推進管と
して口径に比べてはるかに長い通常の推進管が用
いられているため、前記矯正用油圧ジヤツキによ
つて先導管とこれに接続される推進管との間で角
度変位をもたせても意図通りの方向修正は困難で
あつた。すなわち、先導管に接続された推進管が
長尺であると、この推進管は自らの軸心を保持し
たまゝ推進される傾向が強いため、先導管によつ
て方向修正して形成されたトンネルに沿つて推進
される傾向が大きく減殺することになるためであ

等で互いに接続され、かつ内面接合型の管継手に
より互いにシールされている。これら推進管3

外)が配置され、前記先導管1とこれに接続され
た短尺の推進管2aの間には、管の周方向に沿つ
て複数個の矯正用油圧ジヤツキ4が介装され、そ
の端部は先導管1及び推進管2aにそれぞれ固設

を動作せしめて先導管1の方向を推進管2aに対
して偏向させた状態で主ジヤツキによる推進を行
う。すると、後続の推進管2aは短尺であるので
容易に先導管1で形成されたトンネルに沿つて推
進され、またこれに後続する短尺の推進管2b,
2c…も抵抗なく先導管1で形成されたトンネル
に沿つて推進されるため、結局先導管1が指向し
た通りのトンネルが複数の短尺の推進管2a,2
b…に対応した長さにわたつて形成され、従つて
これら短尺の推進管2a,2b…に後続する通常
の推進管3a,3b…も抵抗なくこのトンネルに
沿つて推進されることになる。かくして先導管1
の方向修正によつてその意図通りの推進管路の修
