The present invention relates to an apparatus for contact printing a transmissive original such as a film onto a plate-making material such as a photosensitive film, resin plate, or metal plate. Conventionally, a transparent original is aligned on the plate-making material arranged on a printing table, a flexible transparent sheet is covered and sealed, and this is evacuated with a vacuum pump etc. to create a vacuum inside the sheet. A contact printing method is used in which the manuscript is pressed tightly with a squeegee roller from the top of the sheet, and then light is irradiated onto the flexible transparent sheet to perform printing. The applicant of the present invention has made it easy to align the position of the original in the process of printing multiple plate-making materials from the same original, by maintaining the adhesion between the plate-making material and the original, and by automatically supplying the plate-making material. In order to improve the efficiency of
No. 141633), they proposed fixing the original onto a flexible transparent sheet and performing the above printing method. Furthermore, the present applicant proposed a contact printing apparatus for implementing the contact printing method according to the above proposal as Utility Model Application No. 53-95317 (Utility Model Application No. 55-12281). That is, this device aligns the original onto the plate-making material arranged on the printing table, covers and stacks a flexible transparent sheet over this, and then seals the inside of the flexible transparent sheet using an exhaust means, and In a contact printing device in which the upper part is squeezed by a squeegee roller to bring the original into close contact with the plate-making material, one end of the flexible transparent sheet is fixed at a position where the original is aligned with the plate-making material. A close-contact printing apparatus, characterized in that the printing table is locked to the printing table, the other end is held under tension upward through a tensioning means, and the printing table and the squeegee roller are provided so as to be movable relative to each other. be. However, as mentioned above, in this contact printing device, since the other end of the flexible transparent sheet is held under tension upward, the flexible transparent sheet is removed from the plate-making material and returned to its original position after the printing is completed. When the base and the squeegee roller are moved relative to each other in opposite directions, the flexible transparent sheet is flexible unless the other end of the flexible transparent sheet is held taut in such a manner that it can be manually stretched at a speed greater than this relative movement speed. This may cause the flexible transparent sheet to loosen, causing scratches or other damage to the flexible transparent sheet and the document attached thereto. This tension can be maintained using a spring that uses elasticity, a movable weight that uses gravity, or even power, but the method that uses a movable weight is preferable in terms of cost and maintenance. preferable. In the method using a movable weight, it is due to its own weight falling,
If the speed at which the printing table and squeegee roller are moved relative to each other is higher than the falling speed of the movable weight, the flexible transparent sheet will become slack. The speed will be determined. The relative movement speed between the printing table and the squeegee roller to bring the flexible transparent sheet into close contact with the plate-making material is limited to a range that allows sufficient adhesion to be achieved by expelling air between the plate-making material and the document. It is not easy to speed up. However, the relative movement speed for removing the flexible transparent sheet from the plate-making material after printing can be increased to the extent that the other end of the flexible transparent sheet can be kept under tension at all times. When using the above-mentioned gravity-based method as a tensioning means for the other end of the flexible transparent sheet, if the falling motion of the movable weight is expanded, the relative movement to remove the flexible transparent sheet from the plate-making material The speed can be increased sufficiently. This idea was made in view of the above,
The original is aligned on the plate-making material arranged on the printing table, a flexible transparent sheet is covered and stacked on top of this, the inside of the flexible transparent sheet is sealed by an exhaust means, and the upper part is squeegeeed. In a contact printing device in which the original is squeezed by a roller to bring the original into close contact with the plate-making material, one end of the flexible transparent sheet with the original fixed at a position aligned with the plate-making material is placed on the printing table. The other end of the locking device is held under tension via a tensioning means, and the printing table and the squeegee roller are provided so as to be movable relative to each other. The contact printing apparatus is characterized in that it comprises a transmission means for magnifying the falling motion, and is capable of tensioning the other end of the flexible transparent sheet at a speed greater than the falling speed of the movable weight. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to illustrated embodiments. FIG. 1 is a side view showing the main parts of an embodiment of the contact printing apparatus according to the present invention, in which a sheet positioning and fixing means 3 that locks one end of a flexible transparent sheet 2 to which a document 1 is attached with a pressure tape is shown. A printing table 4 with A movable pulley 7 and a fixed pulley 8 that constitute a pulley, a weight 9 suspended from the movable pulley 7, a spring 10 that cushions the end of the belt 5, a flexible transparent sheet 2, and a guide roller that guides the belt 5. 11. A squeegee roller 13 movably provided to cover and stack the flexible transparent sheet 2 on the plate-making material 12 arranged on the printing table 4; suction means (not shown) provided on the printing table 4; Original 1 stuck to flexible transparent sheet 2
It consists of a light source 14 that transmits and prints the image onto the plate-making material 12. Next, to explain how to handle the contact printing apparatus configured as described above, first, the flexible transparent sheet 2
The original 1 is fixed with pressure tape to a predetermined position, that is, a position aligned with the plate-making material 12, and one end of the flexible transparent sheet 2 is placed on the printing table with the squeegee roller 13 moved to the position shown by the dashed line. 4, and one end of the belt 5 is engaged with both sides of the other end of the flexible transparent sheet 2.
is suspended on the pulleys 6, 6A, 7, and 8, and is locked to the movable pulley 7 via a spring 10 at the other end, and tension is applied by a weight 9 suspended from the movable pulley 7, and then the squeegee roller 13 is The flexible transparent sheet 2 is moved to the state shown by the solid line in FIG. 1 to the state shown in FIG. 2, and the flexible transparent sheet 2 is superimposed on the plate-making material 12 while being squeezed.
By operating the suction means at this time,
The flexible transparent sheet 2 is in close contact with the printing table 4 in a vacuum state, and the original document 1 is in close contact with the plate-making material 12. In this state, light from the light source 14 is irradiated for exposure. After exposure, the squeegee roller 13 is returned to the right from the position shown in Fig. 2 to restore it to the state shown in Fig. 1.
The exposed plate-making material 12 is replaced with an unexposed one. If the reciprocating motion of the squeegee roller 13 is performed in synchronization with the replacement of the plate-making material 12,
A plurality of plate-making materials 12 can be exposed automatically from the same original. Next, the relationship between the movements of the squeegee roller 13 and the weight 9 will be described. The weight 9 is always moved at 1/3 of the moving speed of the belt 5 by means of a triple pulley consisting of a pulley 6 acting as a fixed pulley, a fixed pulley 8, and a movable pulley 7.
rise and fall at a speed of On the other hand, since the squeegee roller 13 acts like a moving pulley on the guide roller 11, the belt 5 moves at twice the speed of the squeegee roller 13. Therefore, the weight 9 always rises and falls at a speed that is 2/3 of the moving speed of the squeegee roller 13.
From the point of view of increasing the speed of the return movement of the squeegee roller 13, which is the purpose of the present invention, in the case of this embodiment, the automatic falling speed of the weight 9 can be tripled. As a means to expand the falling motion of the movable weight, triple single pulleys were used in the example, but compound pulleys or set sheaves may also be used, and levers, differential pulleys,
Other magnification transmission means such as gears can be used. FIG. 3 is a side view illustrating the relationship between the enlargement transmission means used in the present invention and the speed of the belt that moves in accordance with the movement of the movable weight and the movement of the squeeze roller using an example of a differential pulley. The differential pulley 20 is a small diameter pulley 2
1 and a large-diameter pulley 22 are fixed coaxially, and the pulleys 21 and 22 are connected to the belts 22 and 2 so that the belts 23 and 24 can be wound in and let out, respectively.
4 is locked at one end. The belt 23, one end of which is secured to a small-diameter pulley 21, is connected to a weight 2 via a pulley 25.
The other end is locked to 6. One end of the belt 24 is locked to a large-diameter pulley 22, and the other end of the belt 24 is locked to one end 27 of a flexible transparent sheet. M: mass of weight 26 m: mass of vertically moving parts of belt and flexible transparent sheet, f: frictional force, n: radius of large diameter pulley relative to radius 1 of small diameter pulley, υ/2: radius of squeegee roller Traveling speed, h/2: Traveling distance of the squeegee roller, g: Gravitational acceleration, When, mgh−Mgh/n+fh+1/2mυ 2 +1/2M(υ/n) 2

る。[Formula] Therefore, by determining n and M so that the speed of the squeegee roller when it returns is always υ/2 or less, the flexible transparent sheet can be kept under tension at all times. Since the present invention is as described above, flexibility is provided when relatively moving the printing table and the squeegee roller in opposite directions for removing and returning the flexible transparent sheet from the plate-making material after printing is completed. Even if a movable weight, which is superior in terms of cost and maintenance, is used as a tension holding means for the other end of the transparent sheet, it does not cause scratches or other damage to the flexible transparent sheet and the document attached thereto. It is possible to speed up the movement of the squeegee roller.
