）、１６はカバー部材、１９は凹部（ロツク部）
である。

  1. 読取窓を介して原稿の画像を読取る読取手段と
    、動作スイツチとを有する画像読取装置において
    、上記読取窓を開放自在に覆うカバー部材と、こ
    のカバー部材に設けられ、カバー部材が読取窓を
    覆うときに上記動作スイツチに係合して動作スイ
    ツチをオフ位置にロツクするロツク部とを備えた
    ことを特徴とする画像読取装置。
