斜視図である。 １は本体、２は原稿、３は原稿接触面、４は読
取窓、８はＣＣＤ（読取手段）、１９はカバー部
材である。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 原稿に摺動自在に接触する原稿接触面と、この
    原稿接触面に設けられる読取窓と、読取窓を介し
    て原稿の画像を読み取る読取手段とを有する本体
    を備え、手動により原稿に対し相対的に移動させ
    ながら原稿の画像の読取を行うようにした画像読
    取装置において、上記本体に対し、上記読取窓を
    被覆する位置と、読取窓を開放する位置との間で
    移動自在に取り付けられ、かつ上記開放位置にお
    いて、その一部が上記原稿接触面と同一面内に配
    置されるカバー部材を設けたことを特徴とする画
    像読取装置。
