A chip conveyor having a control device for controlling switching/discontinuation of connections, and an overload detection means for detecting an overload of the conveyor, the control device controlling or measuring the time length of each operation. and performs a series of recovery operations in which the conveyor is stopped based on the detection signal of the overload detection means, the conveyor is reversed for a predetermined period of time, then stopped, and then the conveyor is rotated forward, and the detection means determines whether there is an overload. If the overload is still present, the system instructs the timing means to repeat the series of recovery operations such as stopping and reversing until the value measured by the recovery operation elapsed time reaches a predetermined value. The present invention is characterized by comprising a control means that instructs to cut off the power to the drive means and issue an alarm signal as necessary, without repeating the recovery operation when the elapsed time reaches a predetermined value.

A chip conveyor characterized in that it has a control means for instructing to cut off the power to the drive means without repeating the recovery operation when the value reaches the value, and to issue an alarm signal as necessary. 3. Detailed Description of the Invention (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a chip conveyor that is attached to a machine tool and collects chips (hereinafter referred to as chips) discharged from the machine tool;
In particular, the present invention relates to a chip conveyor equipped with an automatic recovery function when the chip is clogged and stopped. (Prior Art) In recent years, the speed and automation of machine tools have progressed dramatically, and along with this, the development and improvement of associated equipment is progressing in various fields. As a link to this, a so-called chip conveyor has been developed and is currently in use, which uses a conveyor to automatically discharge chips discharged during machining by a machine tool from a chip collection point of the machine tool. However, the chip conveyor may be overloaded due to clogging of chips at the bucket portion into which the chips are fed into the chip conveyor or the portion where the chips are fed from the chip conveyor into the chip collection box. In such cases, conventionally, from the viewpoint of preventing motor burnout, a torque limiter and a slip detection device have been attached to the drive part of the chip conveyor to automatically stop the chip conveyor, and then the operator can rotate the chip conveyor in the forward or reverse direction. This refers to forward and reverse rotation (same in this specification) to unclog the chip and restart (recovery) it. (Problem to be solved by the invention) However, as the automation of the above-mentioned machine tools has progressed further, their prices have become extremely expensive, and the pace of progress has been rapid. In order to shorten this period, machine tool operators are increasingly operating automatically at night when they have returned home. If a chip becomes clogged during automatic operation at night, the machine tool must automatically stop and remain in that state until the next morning when an operator is dispatched, reducing the operating rate of the expensive machine tool. As a result, the amortization period is extended, resulting in a large economic loss for the user. The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned current situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide a chip conveyor that can automatically recover even when the chip conveyor is clogged with chips. (Means for Solving the Problems) The chip conveyor according to the present invention includes a conveyor body including a driving means, an electric switch that performs forward/reverse rotation and stopping of the conveyor by switching/intermittent electrical connection, and the electric switch. If the overload is still present, an instruction is given to repeat the series of recovery operations such as stop and reverse rotation until the value measured by the timing means of the recovery operation elapsed time reaches a predetermined value. The present invention is characterized by comprising a control means that instructs to cut off the power to the drive means and issue an alarm signal as necessary, without repeating the recovery operation when the elapsed time reaches a predetermined value. (Function) Therefore, when the chip conveyor with the above configuration is clogged with chips and an overload is applied to the conveyor, the conveyor is automatically stopped and reversed to eliminate the chip clogging, and the conveyor function is automatically activated. to recover. Furthermore, if the clumping of chips is not resolved after a predetermined period of time or more even after the recovery operation, the drive power for the conveyor is cut off to prevent the drive source from burning out. It also issues an alarm signal as necessary to notify an emergency stop of the conveyor. (Example) Hereinafter, an example of the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an overall configuration diagram of a chip conveyor according to the present invention,
Figure 2 is an electrical circuit diagram showing the circuit configuration of the control device;
The figure is a flowchart showing the control details and procedures of the chip conveyor. First, the overall structure of the chip conveyor according to this embodiment will be explained based on FIG. Electric switch for reversing and stopping 2
Electricity is supplied from a power source 7 through a switch 3, and the electric switch 3 is configured to be switched between forward and reverse directions or to be turned on and off by a control device 4. Furthermore, a detector 5a of a shock relay 5 is interposed between the electric motor 2 and the electric switch 3 to detect an overload (rapid increase in current) of the electric motor 2, and a control device 4 is provided with An alarm buzzer 6 is connected to notify the inoperability. FIG. 2 shows one embodiment specifically showing the configuration of the control device 4, and in this embodiment, it is constructed of an electrical sequence circuit that operates as shown in the flowchart of FIG. . That is, this sequence circuit is

A current flows, the magnetic contactor contact MSF in this circuit and the main contact MSF of the magnetic contactor close, a circuit for the normal rotation side of the electric switch 3 of the motor 2 is formed, and the conveyor enters the normal rotation operation state. . In this state, the shock relay 5 for overload detection and the indicator lamp PL are in a energized state and are in a state where overload state detection is possible. When the chip conveyor is clogged with chips and becomes overloaded during forward rotation of the conveyor, the current flowing through the motor 2 increases. When an overcurrent exceeding a set value flows through the motor 2, a current is generated in the secondary coil side of the detector 5a of the shock relay 5, which activates the shock relay 5 and closes its relay contact S.
1 is closed, and the relay C is connected in series with the contact S1.

When R2 opens, the time limit contact TRI of the forward/reverse timer TRI connected in series with the magnetic contactor MSF closes, cutting off the current in the magnetic contactor MSR and causing current to flow through the magnetic contactor MSF, causing the conveyor to moves from the reverse rotation state to the forward rotation state. In this state, if the shock relay 5 does not detect an overload state, that is, if the shock relay 5 has recovered from the chip clogging, the relay CR2 does not operate, so normal rotation operation is maintained. On the other hand, if the shock relay 5 still detects an overload condition, the relay CR2 is activated again and the conveyor performs a series of recovery operations of reverse rotation and forward rotation according to the above procedure. Then, the recovery operation is continued within the set time of the recovery operation limit timer TR2 until the overload condition of the shock relay 5 is no longer detected, and if the overload condition is still detected at the end of the set time, Recovery operation limit timer TR2
The series of recovery operations described above is stopped by the time-limited operation. That is, the time limit contact TR2 of the recovery limit timer TR2 connected in series to the magnetic contactor MSR opens, the time limit contact TR2 of the recovery limit timer TR2 connected in series to the relay CRI closes, and the time limit contact TR2 of the recovery limit timer TR2 connected in series to the electromagnetic contactor MSR closes. Since both the currents in the contactors MSR are interrupted, both main contacts are open and the motor 2 and therefore the conveyor is stopped. Further, contact CR2 of relay CR2 connected in series to alarm buzzer 6 closes and the alarm buzzer sounds. Therefore, even if the chip clogging is not cleared, the electric motor of the conveyor will not be burnt out. In the above embodiment, the control + JJT arrangement is configured by an electrical sequence circuit using an electromagnetic contactor, relay, timer, etc., but instead of these, as shown in FIG. 4, a microcontroller for chip conveyor control is used. The control device may be configured by using a computer (or a computer included in the machine tool body) and incorporating a program into a storage unit to perform control as shown in the flowchart shown in FIG. In such a case, the clock function, arithmetic function,
Memory function can be used. In addition, as another example using an electrical sense circuit,
A circuit configuration as shown in FIG. 5 may be used. Note that the numbers 20.21 in FIG. 2 and the numbers 20 to 24 in FIG. 5 indicate that the same numbers are electrically connected. (Effects of the Invention) As explained above, the present invention has an automatic recovery function that automatically unclogs the chips even if they become clogged, and automatically recovers the chip conveyor. It will also be possible to operate machine tools automatically. As a result, the depreciation period for expensive machine tools can be shortened, resulting in a large economic ripple effect. Furthermore, if the chip cannot be unclogged automatically, it is configured to issue an alarm and automatically shut down, so there is no risk of burning out the motor and causing a fire. 4.
