Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the sectional area of a sheetlike thermistor element by forming terminal electrodes at both ends of the element and to increase a resistance value by increasing a distance between the terminal electrodes by employing the element.
CONSTITUTION: Two insulating sheets 2, 3 are laminated on both sides of a sheetlike thermistor elements 1, the sheets of this 3-layer structure are folded in a zigzag state, and baked. Then, at least both ends of the element 1 are coated with Ag paste and seized to form terminal electrodes 4, 5. Further, lead terminals 6, 7 are respectively bonded by soldering to the electrodes 4, 5, and the outer peripheries are coated with resin to construct a thermistor with lead terminals.
