Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain a high SN ratio without increasing leakage currents by mounting a member light-shielding at least a switching means in a driver circuit section. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of optoelectric transducers 2 are formed continuously onto a transparent substrate 1 in the direction orthogonal to the direction of movement of a draft. Sections among each electrode wiring section are connected to the optoelectric transducers 2 through wire bonding in an IC chip 3 to which a driver circuit with an analog switch for successively selecting the optoelectric transducers 2 is shaped. A sealing resin 4 may be light transmissive. A light-shielding member 5 composed of a sheet metal such as aluminum, stainless, etc. is set up so as to cover the IC chip 3 with the analog switch and the sealing resin 4 from the surface side of the substrate 1. When the light- shielding member 5 is disposed, it is preferable that a light-shielding member 6 is also fitted on the rear side of the substrate 1. According to such constitution, external light such as indoor light is interrupted completely by the light- shielding members 5, 6, thus preventing incidence to the analog switch 8 for the IC chip 3.
