Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily adjust the amount of liquid fuel to be atomized by atomizing the same supplied in a cavity of a horn at an atomization surface thereof through transmitting the vibration from a supersonic vibration generating portion, with the cavity facing upwardly. CONSTITUTION:One end of a horn portion 12 is connected to a supersonic vibration generating portion 11 and the other end thereof is provided with an enlarged diameter portion 13 becoming larger in diameter toward the end. The enlarged diameter portion 13 is provided inside with a cavity 14 becoming larger in diameter toward the end. With the cavity 14 of the horn 12 facing upwardly, the liquid fuel supplied therein is atomized by the vibration transmitted from the supersonic vibration generating portion 11 at an atomization surface 16 of the cavity 14. In other words, the adjustment of the amount of fuel to be atomized can be easily effected merely by adjusting the liquid fuel supplied in the cavity.
