Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the surface of concrete in good quality by collecting surplus bleeding water and bubbles, by making use of a water absorbing concrete form work where a water absorbing sheet composed of a laminated body of a high water-absorbing sheet, long fiber and air permeable sheet is stuck to the inside of the concrete form work. CONSTITUTION:A water absorbing sheet 4 is composed of a laminated body of a sheetlike high water-absorbing sheet 1, long fiber 3 and air permeable sheet 3. The water absorbing sheet 4 is stuck to the face of a concrete form work 5 by using a nail or a pin or a double-side tacky tape. In this instance, an air permeable sheet 3 constituting the water-absorbing sheet 4 is fitted to the concrete form work 5 by facing toward the inside of the concrete form work 5. Concrete 6 is placed within the concrete form work 5. The concrete 6 is tamped while accelerating rising of bleeding water and bubbles by vibrating the concrete 6. The major part of the surplus water and bubbles are collected by the high water-absorbing sheet 1 and the bubbles permeated through the high water-absorbing sheet 1 are discharged through fine holes 31 of the air permeable sheet 3. A water-cement ratio of a surface layer part of the concrete is lowered, strength and durability of the surface layer of the concrete are improved and the concrete can be finished in good quality.
