Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate for a heat insulation material superior in heat insulation properties and mechanical strength, by a method wherein the laminate is constituted of a graphite thin film layer, a carbon porous body layer having cell structure and a porous body layer comprised of a fibrous matter or mainly comprised of the fibrous matter and the carbon porous body layer is provided between the graphite thin film layer and carbon porous body layer. CONSTITUTION:A laminated body for a heat insulation material is comprised of a graphite thin film layer A, a carbon porous body layer B having cell structure and a porous body layer C which is either comprised of a fibrous matter or mainly comprised of the fibrous matter, and possesses structure where the carbon porous body layer B is provided between the graphite thin film layer A and porous body layer C. A graphite thin film is constituted of graphite or a graphite interlaminar chemical compound mainly comprised of the graphite. A carbon porous body is obtained by heating and carbonizing a thermosetting synthetic resin foam within a nonoxidizing atmosphere. A porous body comprised of the fibrous matter having heat resistance, for example, a short fiber such as a pitch carbon fiber or a rayon carbon fiber or a long fiber or a felt-like matter or a paper-like matter or woven fabric used as the porous body.
