CONSTITUTION: The plural rare earth alloy powders of the different compsns. having ≤1,000 Oe coercive force are so mixed as to obtain the compsn. of the desired rare earth magnet. The above-mentioned plural rare earth alloy powders of the different compsns. are preferably constituted of the rare earth alloy powders which are different in the ratios of rare earth elements. The raw material powder for the rare earth magnets which is extremely weak in the aggregation property and has the excellent moldability to enable the molding at a specified packing density at the time of packing to the metallic molds, etc., is thereby obtd. The molding which has a uniform density and is free from chipping, cracking, etc., is obtd. by using this raw material powder.
