Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a reamer bolt to be extracted quickly, easily and without any possibility of damaging it by shrinking the reamer bolt thermically by means of supplying low temperature fluid to circulate through a cooling hole provided along the center line of the reamer bolt. CONSTITUTION:A cooling hole 9 is drilled on a reamer bolt 5 along its center line. Liquid nitrogen 10 is introduced to a manifold 18 through a diaphragm valve 12 while compressed air 11 is introduced to the manifold 18 through a diaphragm valve 22 and the mixed gas is introduced into the cooling hole 9. The mixing ratio is regulated by controlling the diaphragm valve 22 with an air transmitter 21 based on signals from thermocouples 19, 13 and the established value becomes the temperature difference between the reamer bolt 5 and the mixed gas detected by a temperature difference detector 20. As a result of comparison of the signals of thermocouples 14, 13 with a temperature difference detector 15, a signal 17 actuates to close the diaphragm valves 12, 22 with an air transmitter 16 when the temperature difference reaches the value which causes the fitting of the reamer bolt 5 to become loose.
