Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a carbide precipitated reinforcing type Co-base alloy fine wire having excellent heat resistance and corrosive resistance by packing raw material powder of the carbide precipitated reinforcing type Co-base alloy into gap between inner face of a Co-made cylindrical body and a core and heating the cylindrical body after wire-drawing by swaging, to sinter the raw material powder. CONSTITUTION:The fine wire-state core 1a having smaller diameter than inner diameter (l) of the cylindrical body and extending to longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body is inserted into the inner part of the Co-made cylindrical body 1 and the raw material powder of the carbide precipitated reinforcing type Co-base alloy is packed into the gap between the cylindrical body 1 and the core 1a. The wire-drawing work is executed to this from about 20% to <=90% by roller-dies 3 and sintered at lower than m.p. of the Co-base alloy by about 10-100 deg.C. By this method, the carbide precipitated reinforcing type Co-base alloy fine wire having excellent heat resistance, corrosive resistance and wear resistance is produced.
