Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductive composite body having a high critical temp. and consisting of a perovskite type or pseudo-perovskite type oxide and a metal phase by mixing oxides or carbonates of plural specified elements and subjecting the mixture to precalcining, grinding, mixing with powder of a specified metal, press molding and sintering. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of powders of oxides or carbonates forming a perovskite type or pseudo-perovskite type compd. represented by a general formula AWBXCYDZ (where A is a group IIa element of the periodic table, B is a group IIIa element, C is a group Ib, IIb, IIIb or VIIIa element, D is at least one among O, B, C, N, F and S, each of W, X and Y is a positive number of <=1 and Z is a number of 1-5) is precalcining at 700-900 deg.C and ground. At least one among Cu, Ag, Au, Pt, Ni and Zn is dispersed in the resulting powder by 10-70vol.% and they are molded and sintered at 800-1,100 deg.C to produce a superconductive composite body having a high critical superconduction temp.
