Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a homogeneous film without pretreating the film even of a complicated form, by bringing a molded plastic body into contact with a solution of hydrosilicofluoric acid containing a surfactant to deposit the film. CONSTITUTION:A molded plastic body is brought into contact with a hydrosilicofluoric acid in a state saturated with silicon dioxide to deposit a silicon dioxide film on the surface thereof. In the process, a surfactant (preferably fluorine based surfactant) is added to the above-mentioned solution for use. The amount of the surfactant added is the critical micelle concentration or above, preferably 0.01-1wt.%.
