Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve sealing ability of the title device by forming a molding body with a complex material having its base material composed of fibers the surface of the single yarn of which is coated with a metal foil and applying a sliding face treatment on the mechanical sliding face of the molding body. CONSTITUTION:A coated fiber layer 3 formed by the winding method having its base material composed of a single yarn 1 the surface of which is coated with a metal foil 2 is polymerized with a normal fiber layer 4 made of a fiber reinforcing complex material and a galvanized layer 5 is applied on a mechanical sliding face wherein the metal foil 2 of this molding body is exposed. Accordingly, the metal film 2 comes in a deposit state between respective single yarns 1 adjacent to each other by high temperature pressurizing process of the molding and becomes a structure having no porous portion or no hollow portion so that sealing ability can be improved. The sliding face treatment for the sliding face of the molding body can be performed easily and accurately.
