Abstract

PURPOSE: To fabricate an end section whose diameter matches to that of a paper cylindrical material by a method wherein the inner section of a cylindrical material is cut concentrically and two steps, and the remaining cut thin section from viewer's side is folded inside which section is superimposed on the thinly cut section, and the thickness of the thinly cut section and that of the thinly cut section of a cylindrical section is required to be the same, resulting in exposing no laminated layer. CONSTITUTION: A paper cylinder 1 whose thickness is made by laminating a thick paper is cut inwardly 2 stepwise to form a medium thickness cylindrical section 2 and thin thickness cylindrical section 3 by rotating the cylinder 1. The medium thickness cylindrical section 2 and thin thickness cylindrical section 3 are cut so that the cut thickness section d1 of medium thickness cylindrical section 2 may be the same as the cut thickness section d2 of medium thickness cylindrical section 3. When the folded thin thickness cylindrical section 3 is adhered and superimposed on the inner surface of the medium thickness cylindrical section 2 to form the end section of the cylinder 1, an end face 5 whose laminated surface is exposed is covered with the thin thickness section 3. The paper cylinder 1 prevents the laminated section from being peeled off and deformed due to the high speed rotation and absorption of the moisture therefor, improving the strength of the end section.
