Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the yellowing in heating by introducing a specified functional group into under coat, when the polymer molded object obtained by metathesis polymerization is coated by using polyurethane paint. CONSTITUTION:A metathetically polymerizable cycloolefin dissociating cyclopentadiene through reverse Diels-Alder reaction is used as at least a part of a monomer. The surface of at least a part of a polymer molded object obtained by simultaneously carrying out polymerization and molding in the presence of metathesis polymerization catalyst is coated doubly. As the under coat of this doubly coated object alpha,beta-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid-residue is added in said coat. As the polyurethane paint used for a top coat, aliphatic polyisocyanate as isocyanate component is used. Cyclopentadiene is caught by alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid-residue, and does not reach the polyurethane layer, whereby coloring is prevented.
