る。 Generally, this type of synthetic fiber is obtained by cutting a foamed polyurethane sheet as a synthetic fiber material in the longitudinal direction with a slitter. That is, a foamed polyurethane sheet wound into a roll is fed out by a feeding mechanism composed of a group of rollers, and a plurality of fibers having a predetermined width are formed by a slitter installed in the feeding mechanism. After cutting, these fibers are wound up using a winding tool consisting of a winding roll or a winding bobbin.

The material is wound while ensuring a predetermined tension.

Therefore, when a tightening force is applied during winding, a difference occurs in the cross-sectional shape due to elastic deformation.
As newly wound fibers get stuck between already wound fibers, or as the winding diameter gradually increases, deformation occurs especially at the ends of the winding part.
A tangle phenomenon occurs in which the fibers cannot be wound properly.

We tried a method in which the synthetic resin fibers were hung horizontally on a loom in the weaving process. However, according to this method, the width of the lower synthetic resin fibers inevitably increases due to the weight of the synthetic resin sheet, making it difficult to cut them into uniform widths.

the slitter is a drum having a plurality of disc cutters and a circumferential groove into which the peripheral edge of each disc cutter is fitted. The disc cutter is movable in the vertical direction following the vertical movement of the jack and is capable of approaching and separating from the drum, and the winding tool has an upward slope with respect to the horizontal plane. It is rotatably supported by a receiving member, and the sheet for maintaining the wound state is rotatably supported above the drive roller 7.

Thereafter, the winding tool 13 is rotated according to the feed speed of the feeding mechanism 8, that is, the rotation of the drive roller 7 in this embodiment, and the sheet 15 for maintaining the winding state is placed on the upper surface of the multi-filament fiber 1A over the entire width direction. is continuously wound up in a polymerized state.

The foamed synthetic fiber 1A on the outer periphery of the winding does not cut into the fiber 1A side. Moreover, since slippage and inclination in the cross-sectional direction are suppressed compared to when the foamed synthetic fibers 1A are placed in direct contact with each other on the inner and outer peripheries, the selvedges 1a, 1a at both ends do not collapse, and the winding diameter gradually increases. Also, there is no risk of entanglement occurring.

Since the sheet is uniformly polymerized and then wound, the foamed synthetic fibers on the outer periphery of the winding do not cut into the foamed synthetic fibers on the inner periphery of the winding, and even if the winding diameter gradually increases, the wound part remains unchanged. No deformation occurs on the ears at both ends. Therefore, the foamed synthetic fibers can be appropriately wound without becoming tangled, and there is an advantage that handling in the next weaving process is facilitated.
