Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent blur of image effectively by coupling second pair of carry rollers through a unilateral clutch for enabling free rotation in carrying direction of sheet with a drive input shaft.
CONSTITUTION: Second pair of carry rollers 3, 4 are driven by a drive motor M1 through a unilateral clutch 11. A unilateral clutch 10 prevents reverse rotation of the carry rollers 3, 4 when jamming is removed. Since the circumferential speed of the pair of carry rollers 3, 4 is slightly higher than that of the first pair of carry rollers 1, 2, a sheet S being carried is slightly accelerated at a moment when it is held between the second pair of carry rollers 3, 4 then it is fed with a constant speed to a transfer section. The second unilateral clutch 11 is not brought into free condition but transmits power to the second pair of carry rollers 3, 4 under clocked condition.
