Abstract
PURPOSE:To quantitatively introduce biological active substance by forming a carrier for immobilizing biological active substance at least to one part of a surface layer part with polyphosphazene having a functional group capable of bonding to the biological active substance as a side chain. CONSTITUTION:A carrier for immobilizing biological active substance is molded so that at least one part of the surface layer part of a molded polyphosphazene is consisted of polyphosphazene having a functional group capable of bonding to the biological active substance as a side chain. As the functional group capable of bonding to the biological active substance, primary amino, secondary amino, tertiary amino, carboxyl, hydroxyl, thiol, aldehyde and epoxy group, etc., are preferably used. The functional group capable of carrying the biological active substance can be introduced quantitatively at high concn. on the surface of the obtained carrier.
