Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a composition containing 3-chloro-2-[4-chloro-2-fluoro-5-(2- propynyloxy)phenyl]-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-2H-indazole and 3,7-dichloroquinoline-8- carboxylic acid.
CONSTITUTION: A herbicide composition containing 1W70wt.% sum of 3- chloro-2-[4-chloro-2-fluoro-5-(2-propynyloxy)phenyl]-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-2H-indazole and 3,7-dichloroquinoline-8-carboxylic acid in the weight ratio of 1:3W1,500. The composition can selectively destroy a wide range of weeds (e.g. Echinochloa oryzicola Vasing, toothcup, bulrush and monochoia) especially in paddy fields with a small amount. The composition is blended with a solid carrier, a liquid carrier, a surface active agent or other auxiliaries and can be prepared into emulsion, wettable powder, dust or flowable.
