Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A forcedly air-cooled engine E is provided with a centrifugal cooling fan 2 at the outside of one side of a crankcase, while there is provided with a fan case 5 at the outside of one side extending the crankcase, a cylinder body 3 and a cylinder head 4. In this case, an air cleaner 12 is set up at the outside of a horizontal side wall 10 on the lee side of a peripheral side wall 8 of the fan case 5, and a primary chamber 14 of the air cleaner 12 is interconnected to an internal space 15 of the horizontal side wall 10 inside of the fan case 5. And, air is taken in from the fresh air intake 25 spread with a dustproof net 24 by action of the cooling fan 2, feeding the inside of the fan case 5 with this air under pressure, and a part of this cooling air is made pressure-feedable to the primary chamber 14 of the air cleaner 12 from the internal space 15 of the horizontal side wall 10.
