Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the engine output by forming an upstream air distributing hole communicated with a muffler cooling passage and a downstream air distributing hole for forcing a cooling air to a primary chamber of an air cleaner, in a fan case provided between a centrifugal cooling fan and an engine. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal cooling fan 2 is provided on an outer side surface of a crankcase. A fan case 5 is so provided as to extend from the centrifugal cooling fan 2 to the crankcase, a cylinder body 3 and a cylinder head 4. A flange wall 16 of the fan case 5 is formed at opposite side portions with an upstream air distributing hole 17 and a downstream air distributing hole 18. The upstream air distributing hole 17 forces a cooling air to a muffler cooling passage formed around a muffler 50, and the downstream air distributing hole 18 forces the cooling air to a primary chamber 14 of an air cleaner 12.
