Abstract
PURPOSE: To economically obtain the title compound which is an intermediate for medicines in good yield without using expensive raw material, by reacting a 5-(3-dialkylamino)alkyl-furfuryl alcohol with a 2,2-disubstituted thiazolidine as raw materials.
CONSTITUTION: A 5-(dialkylamino)alkyl-furfuryl alcohol (or acrylated substance thereof) expressed by formula I (R1 and R2 are 1W≤ alkyl; R3 is H or acyl; ALK is 1W4C alkyl) is reacted with a 2,2-disubstituted thiazolidine expressed by formula II (R4 is 1W4C alkyl; R5 is 1W4C alkyl or acetate) at ambient temperature W 100°C, preferably 40W80°C using preferably acetic acid or a hydrohalogenic acid as a solvent to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula III. The compound expressed by formula II is used in a molar amount within the range of 0.5W3 times, preferably 1W2 times based on the compound expressed by formula I.
