CONSTITUTION:Electroplating is applied to the surface of a steel sheet under the conditions of >=30m/min relative.flow velocity of the steel sheet to be plated and a plating bath and >=50A/dm<2> current density by using the plating bath which contains Zn ions, bivalent Fe ions, and 1-200h/l SiO2 colloid and in which pH value is regulated to an acidic region of 0.5-3. By this method, the Zn-Fe-type plated steel sheet excellent in corrosion resistance under coated film can be manufactured with high plating efficiency.
