Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent chlorine ions from entering and to protect reinforced concrete structure from destruction by forming a water impervious synthetic resin coating on a surface of a permanent mold for placing concrete to which concrete is to be placed. CONSTITUTION: A cement-based mold is produced by an extrusion forming method, and a methacrylic resin coating is formed on an irregular surface of the mold i.e., the surface which comes into contact with placed concrete to form a permanent mold 1. The permanent mold 1 is arranged at the bottom surface of a mold made of steel with the methacrylic resin surface as an upper surface. Concrete is placed from the upper part of the mold made of steel, and the mold is removed after a lapse of one day. Then it is cured in a room for 40 days. After the hardening of the placed concrete, the permanent mold 1 and reinforced concrete are integrated. By this, as the permanent mold 1 prevents chlorine ions in seawater from entering the concrete, it is possible to protect the reinforced concrete permanently.
