Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 読み取られるべき原稿を搬送するための搬
    送路と、この搬送路の途中に設けられており、搬
    送路を搬送されてくる原稿上の文字・画像情報を
    読み取るための読取装置と、搬送路に挿入された
    原稿のサイズに応じて前記読取装置による読取り
    スキヤンの範囲を制御するスキヤン制御手段と、
    を具えた搬送型読取りスキヤナにおいて、 前記読取装置の手前の前記搬送路を臨む所定の
    位置において所定の複数種の原稿のサイズに夫々
    対応して設けられており、搬送路における原稿の
    有無を検出する複数の原稿検出手段と、 この原稿検出手段の出力に基づき前記搬送路上
    の原稿のサイズを判定するサイズ判定手段と を具え、このサイズ判定手段で判定した原稿サ
    イズに応じて前記スキヤン制御手段によつて制御
    する読取りスキヤンの範囲を設定するようにした
    搬送型読取りスキヤナにおける原稿スキヤン範囲
    自動設定装置。 (2) 前記サイズ判定手段は、原稿の横サイズを
    判定しスキヤン制御手段に対して横のスキヤンビ
    ツト数を指示する回路と、原稿の縦サイズを判定
    しスキヤン制御手段に対して縦のスキヤンビツト
    数を指示する回路とを含むものである実用新案登
