Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an optical card which obviates the exfoliation of a recording film from a transparent org. substrate and the cracking of the recording film by forming the card into 4-layered constitution in order of the substrate, the recording film, org. adhesive layer, and protective metallic sheet and specifying the thickness of the protective metallic sheet to a 0.01-0.4mm range. CONSTITUTION:This card is made into the 4-layered structure consisting in laminating the recording film 2, the org. adhesive layer 3 and the protective metallic sheet 4 successively on the transparent org. substrate 1. The thickness of the card is specified to 0.75+ or -0.08mm. Deformed build-up parts 5 called as bubbles are formed on the recording film 2 when a laser beam for recording is projected to the card from the transparent org. substrate 1 side. The protective metallic sheet 4 having the thickness ranging 0.01-0.4mm is used as the protective sheet and since the transparent org. substrate 1 deposited with the recording film 2 and the protective metallic sheet 4 are securely adhered by the org. adhesive layer 3, the card is strong to mechanical deformation and the important problems such as the exfoliation of the recording film 2 from the transparent org. substrate 1 and the cracking of the recording film 2 are obviated.
