Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate residual vibration at the start and stop of a clamping tool via simple constitution and enable high speed operation by changing the rigidity of a retained substance of shape memory alloy through heating and suppressing the vibration of the clamping tool at the start and stop thereof. CONSTITUTION:A clamping tool 8 is capable of motion in three or fore and aft and right and left directions on the elastic telescopic motion of a wire 14. Even if there is an error in positioning an insertion substance retained with the clamping tool 8, the wire 14 absorbs the error, thereby enabling the substance to be inserted. Then, a power supply 18 and a switch 20 are operated to make the wire 14 alive and the temperature of the wire 14 is thereby made to change. Or, the switch 20 is closed when the clamping tool 8 is shifting, thereby causing a temperature increase and enlarging the tension of the wire 14. When the substance is inserted, the switch 20 is opened and the temperature of the wire 14 is lowered, thereby reducing the tension thereof. As aforementioned, high-speed start and stop operation is made possible, while an easy insertion process is retained.
