Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce vibration of the rotary shaft in other directions than rotational, such as twisting, by installing a vibro-reducing member equipped with a resilient member and a damper mass on the rotary shaft in such a way as rotatable separately from rotation of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:A hub 2 is installed on a rotary shaft 1 in such a way as rotatable together. At the periphery of this hub 2 a damper for twist vibration 3 is installed, which is equipped with a damper mass 6 through a plate 4 and a resilient member 5. This damper 3 rotates along with the rotary shaft 1 and hub 2. A vibro-reducing member 7 is installed at the bore of the hub 2 through a rotary member 10 (bearing). This vibro-reducing member 7 rotates independent from the shaft 1 and hub 2. This member 7 consists of a resilient member 8 and a damper mass 9. Thereby the twist vibration because of rotation of the shaft 1 will not be transmitted any more to the resilient member 8.
