Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve accurate and efficient inspection work of a flaw of a power transmission line, by recording a video of the transmission line on a video tape while a flaw detection signal is recorded on a voice signal track of the video tape when the flaw detection signal is outputted from a flaw detection sensor. CONSTITUTION:Carrying a video camera 1 for photographing a transmission line and a flaw detection sensor 2, a self-travelling inspection device C runs on a transmission line A to detect a flaw canning the transmission line A with the travelling flaw detection sensor 2. Any flaw in the transmission line A is detected with the flaw detection sensor 2 to output a flaw detection signal. When the flaw detection signal is outputted from the flaw detection sensor 2, it is detected with a controller 8 and a control signal is outputted to drive a video camera 1 for photographing the transmission line and a video tape recorder 4. Thus, a video of a transmission portion alone having a flaw is recorded on a video signal track 6 of a video tape 5 while the flaw detection signal of the flaw detection sensor 2 is recorded on a voice signal track 7 of the video tape 5.
