Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by blowing off the required paste filled in a mesh belt with the compressed air and coating it on a current collector. CONSTITUTION:The paste 3 for storage battery of a paste tank 2 filled in a mesh belt 1 is blown off by the compressed air through an air nozzle 6 and coated on the surface of a current collector 8 on a belt 10 via a mask 7 to form an electrode plate for storage battery. Since the paste is not coated directly on the current collector, the electrode plate for thin storage battery is productively formed with the thin current collector with the relatively weak strength.
