Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an ink jet nozzle to be easily replaced in units of a single piece by arranging a plurality of ink jet nozzles in a fixed direction against a subcarrier and storing them in an individually detachable and adjoining manner. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 15 with a subcarrier 14 is mounted in parallel with a platen 3 and freely moved back and forth. In the storage part of the subcarrier 14, a plurality of ink jet heads 1a-1d are arranged individually in a fixed direction and stored in a freely detachable and adjoining manner. Subsequently, the ink jet heads 1a-1d can be easily replaced in units of a single place.
