Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled coating, containing a specific unsaturated polyester, polyisocyanate, boric acid, extender pigment, organic peroxide, photopolymerization initiator and curing accelerator and capable of smoothing knot holes and recessed parts of wooden plywood and preventing damage by termites. CONSTITUTION:The aimed coating containing (A) an unsaturated polyester polymer having two or more unsaturated bonds and one or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule, (B) a polyisocyanate compound, (C) boric acid, (D) an extender pigment, (E) an organic peroxide based catalyst, (F) a photopolymerization initiator and (G) a curing accelerator. The equivalent ratio (OH/NCO) of hydroxyl groups in the component (A) to NCO groups in the component (B) is 0.5-3.0 and the component (C) is used in an amount of 5-30wt.% based on the aimed coating.
