Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A KANA character string entered from an input means 1 is converted into a KANJI/KANA mixed character string via a sentence edit control means 9 and a KANA/KANJI conversion means 10, written in a sentence storage means 2 and sentence edit structure information is written in a sentence structure storage means 6. Then sentences are edited based on the edit or part of speech information in the unit of sentences/paragraphs/words, etc., being the unit of sentence structure via a structure designation means 7 and a structural position extraction means 8, etc., the more natural designation of the object is attained so as to improve the operability of the sentence editer. Moreover, the result of analysis of KANA/KANJI conversion is utilized effectively and a re-analysis discrimination means 11 is provided, then even when a paragraph is inputted while being divided minutely by the KANA/KANJI conversion, the sentence is reformed into a correct sentence structure.
