Description
(産業上の利用分野)
本考案はたばこシートからのV字型たばこ刻み
の製造装置に関する。
(従来の技術)
一般にV字型に成形されたたばこ刻みは通常の
たばこ刻みに比し充填容量が大きく、巻たばこの
製造上好ましいたばこ刻みとされている。
従来、このV字型たばこ刻みに類似したたばこ
刻みを製造する方法としては特公昭54−16598号
公報に開示される方法がある。
しかし、この方法はたばこを一旦たばこ片に裁
断したのち、かみ合い乍ら回転する一対の円筒歯
車のかみ合せ部に供給して、たばこ片に凹凸や捩
れを付与させる方法であるため、歯車のかみ合せ
部の通過のみによる凹凸等の付与程度には限界が
あり、必ずしも十分に満足すべき充填容量の増加
が得られない欠点がある。
(発明が解決しようとする問題点)
本考案は従来のたばこの充填容量を増加させる
手段の上記の欠点に着目してなされたもので、充
填容量の大きいV字型たばこ刻みをたばこシート
から連続的かつ確実に安定して製造し得る装置を
提供することを目的とする。
(問題点を解決するための手段)
以下に本考案を実施例を示す添付の図面に基づ
いて説明する。
第1図は本考案のV字型たばこ刻み製造装置の
正面図、第2図は同平面図を示し、又第3図に本
発明の装置によるたばこシートからV字型たばこ
刻みの製造工程の概略を示した。
先ず第3図により本発明装置によるV字型たば
こ刻みの製造工程について説明する。
初めに(1)の工程で矢線方向に連続供給されるた
ばこシートSの両側が下向きに折込まれるように
長手方向の折り目aが順次形成される。次いで(2)
の工程で両側の折り目a,aの内側に隣接して折
り目a,aと逆方向の折り目b,bが順次形成さ
れる。次いで(3)の工程で折り目b,bの中間に折
り目b,bと逆方向の折り目cが順次形成され
る。このようにして順次形成された折り目a,
b,cによりたばこシートSに長手方向のヒダが
形成される。
次いで(4)の工程でヒダ付けされたたばこシート
Sの折込部が圧縮されて折込圧縮たばこシートS1
が形成される。次に(5)の工程で折込圧縮たばこシ
ートS1が90゜反転される。次いで(6)の工程で折込
圧縮たばこシートS2がシート面の長手方向のほぼ
中心線dで裁断されたのち、前部から長手方向と
ほぼ直角方向の細幅eに順次裁刻されることによ
り(7)に示されるようなV字型のたばこ刻みTvが
得られる。
次に第1図及び第2図に基づいて本発明を説明
する。
図において本発明のV字型たばこ刻み製造装置
(以下単に装置という)は、架台1に載置された
複数対の移送兼折込ローラ2,3,4と複数の折
込案内板5,6,7,7a,8とを具備し、かつ
両外側の折込案内板5の間隔を前方に向けて縮小
させてなるたばこシートの折込移送手段Aと、相
互に対向する複数個のガイドローラ9a,9b,
10a,10b,11a,11b,12a,12
bに夫々巻回され、前部の対向間隔を狭少に形成
した一対の折込ベルト13a,13bからなる折
込部圧縮手段Bと、折込圧縮されたたばこシート
を長手方向に裁断する丸刃14を具備する裁断手
段Cと、該長手方向に裁断されたたばこシートを
長手方向に対し直角方向に裁刻する裁刻刃15を
具備する裁刻手段Dとから構成される。
以上の構成において折込移送手段Aは第3図の
(1)〜(3)の工程に対応し、折込部圧縮手段Bは(4)の
工程に、裁断手段C及び裁刻手段Dは(5)〜(6)の工
程に夫々対応する。
次に以上の構成を各手段毎に詳述する。
先ず折込移送手段Aの構成について説明する。
第1の移送兼折込ローラ2はたばこシートの受
台16aの前端部に位置する架台1上に設置され
た上下一対のローラ2a,2bからなり、又第2
の移送兼折込ローラ3はローラ2の前方に設置さ
れた上下一対のローラ3aと3bからなる、又、
第3の移送兼折込ローラ4は第2のローラ3のさ
らに前方に配設された上下一対のローラ4a,4
bからなり、上部ローラ4aは溝付ローラで形成
される。しかして第1の移送兼折込ローラ2の上
部ローラ2a及び第2の移送兼折込ローラ3を形
成する上下一対のローラ3a,3b、第3の移送
兼折込ローラ4の下部ローラ4bの外側端縁には
たばこシート折り込み用の円環状突起2a′,3
a′,3b′,4b′(後述)が夫々周設されている。
これらのローラは原動機M1により駆動されるギ
ア17、プーリ18,19,20、ギア21,2
2、ベルト23等を介して駆動される。
次に折込案内板5は架台1上で受台16aの前
方に夫々配置される受台16b,16cの両端縁
側に第1の移送兼折込ローラ2の外側位置から第
3の移送兼折込ローラ4の位置まで延設して一対
配設され、その間隔は前方に向け縮小されてい
る。
折込案内板6は折込案内板5の内側に、ローラ
2のやや前方からローラ3の両外側位置まで延設
して一対平行に配設される。又、折込案内板7は
折込案内板6のさらに内側にローラ2のやや前方
からローラ3まで一対平行に配設され、折込案内
板7aはローラ3からローラ4の位置まで折込案
内板7の間隔に比しやや狭い間隔で一対平行に配
設される。更に、折込案内板8は折込案内板7a
の中間にローラ3からローラ4の前端位置まで1
枚配設される。これらの折込案内板はすべて垂直
方向に配設され、又、折込案内板5の下縁、折込
案内板6の上縁、折込案内板7,7aの下縁及び
折込案内板8の上縁等の位置は移送兼折込ローラ
2,3及び4の位置との関係でたばこシートに第
3図の工程に示すように折り目が形成される位置
に設定される。
次に折込部圧縮手段Bを構成するガイドローラ
は相互に対向する複数対(図示では4対)のロー
ラ9a,9b,10a,10b,11a,11b
及び12a,12bからなり、各対のローラにエ
ンドレスに巻回される一対の折込ベルト13a,
13bの対向面の間隔は、後方から前方に向けて
狭少に形成され、前部のローラ11a,11b,
12a,12bに巻回される折込ベルトの対向面
は極めて近接している。
以上のガイドローラはその一部のローラ(図示
では9a,9b)をプーリ24,25,26,2
7、ベルト28等を介して駆動源M1により駆動
され、折込ベルト13a,13bは対向する内側
が前方に進行するように回動される。なお16b
はたばこシートの受台である。
次に、折込圧縮されたたばこシートを長手方向
に裁断する手段Cは、折込圧縮されたたばこシー
トを90゜反転させるトンネル29とトンネル29
の前方に配設される裁断部31とからなり、トン
ネル29には90゜捩られた一対の板状反転ガイド
30が内設されている。又、裁断部31は架台3
2に支持された上下一対の移送ローラ33、架台
32上に載置されスリツト34を中央部に設けた
裁断台35上に設けられた案内ガイド36、裁断
用丸刃14、丸刃研磨板37等から構成される。
丸刃14は裁断台35の中央部、スリツト34
内に一部を臨ませて垂直方向に設置され、又、丸
刃研磨板37は丸刃14の斜め上方に接して取付
けられる。
丸刃14の回転駆動はギア38を介して原動機
M2により行なわれる。又、移送ローラ33の駆
動はギア39、プーリ40,41、ベルト42等
を介し前述の移送兼折込ローラ4等と同一駆動源
M1により伝動駆動される。
以上の裁断手段Cにおいて、丸刃14が水平方
向に設置されるときは折込圧縮たばこシートを
90゜反転させるためのトンネル29は省略するこ
とができる。
次に、折込圧縮たばこシートを長手方向に対し
直角方向に裁刻する手段Dは、上下一対の移送ロ
ーラ43とこの移送ローラ43の一方とローラ4
4間に巻装されたエンドレスの移送ベルト45、
移送ベルト45の位置調節手段46、裁刻台47
及び裁刻刃15等から構成される。
移送ベルト45の位置調節手段46は、中心を
回動自在の支軸48としたアーム49の一端をロ
ール44の軸に固定し、他端に調節ネジ50を当
接させて形成され、調節ネジ50により支軸48
を介してロール44の位置が調整される。移送ロ
ーラ43の駆動はギア51、プーリ52、ベルト
53を介してプーリ40と同軸で回転するプーリ
(図示せず)により行なわれる。
又、裁刻刃15は下縁を刃先とした板状刃54
が固定ネジ55で支持体56に上下摺動運動可能
に装着され、又、板状刃54の刃先位置は押込ネ
ジ57で調整される。この板状刃54は支軸58
を有するクランク軸59に連結され、ギア60,
61を介して原動機M3により上下方向に高速駆
動される。
(作用)
次に以上の構成からなる本発明装置の作用を前
述の図面以外に第1図のA−A断面を示す第4
図、B−B断面を示す第5図及びC−C断面を示
す第6図を参照して説明する。
まず、受板16a上に連続供給されるたばこシ
ートSは第1の移送兼折込ローラ2に移送される
と、ローラ2の外方にはみ出た部分のたばこシー
トの両側は上部ローラ2aの外縁環状突起2a′と
その外側下方に下縁部を有する折込案内板5とに
より下方へ折込まれ(第4図参照)、第3図の状
態となり折り目a,aが形成される。たばこシー
トSが更に前進移送されると、折り目a,a部分
は折込案内板6の上縁に保持された状態で折り目
a,a間の上面が折込案内板7の下縁に当接す
る。
たばこシートSが第2のローラ3a,3bの位
置に達した時点でローラ3a,3bの外縁環状突
起3a′,3b′により折り目a,aと反対方向に折
り込まれ(第5図参照)、第3図2の状態となり
折り目b,bが形成される。この状態から更にた
ばこシートSが移送されると折り目a,aの部分
は間隔が狭められた折込案内板5に制約されて次
第に鋭角度を増してゆくと同時に折り目b,bは
折込案内板7aの下縁に保持された状態で折り目
b,b間のたばこシート下面が折込案内板8の上
縁に当接する。たばこシートSが第3のローラ4
の位置に移送された時点で、ローラ4の上部ロー
ラ4aの溝4′と下部ローラ4bの円環状突起4
b′とにより折り目b,bと反対方向に折込まれ
(第6図参照)、第3図3の状態となり折り目cが
形成される。
以上のようにして折込移送手段Aにより折り目
a,b,cが形成された折込たばこシートS1は折
込部圧縮手段Bにおいて前方に向けて間隔が縮小
された対向する折込ベルト13a,13bにより
漸次折込部が圧縮され、第3図4に示される状態
となる。
折込圧縮されたたばこシートS2は次いで裁断手
段Cに移送され、トンネル29内の反転ガイド3
0により90゜反転され、第3図5に示されるよう
にたばこシート面が水平方向に向けられる。シー
ト面が水平方向に反転されたたばこシートS2は、
次いで移送ロール33により更に圧縮保持された
裁断台35上を回転する丸刃14の下方に移送さ
れ、たばこシートS2の中央部が長手方向に裁断さ
れ、たばこシートS2は2分割される。長手方向に
2分割されたたばこシートS2は案内ガイド36に
保持され、次の裁刻手段Dに移送される。
裁刻手段Dにおいて2分割されたたばこシート
S3は移送ロール43及び移送ベルト45により保
持移送され、裁刻台47の先端部において板状刃
54の上下往復運動によりたばこシートS3の移送
方向と直角方向に一定幅で裁刻され、第3図7に
示すV字型たばこ刻みTvが得られる。
板状刃54の上下往復運動は支軸58を介して
のクランク軸59の揺動により行なわれる。
なお、丸刃14の研磨は丸刃研磨板37により
丸刃14の回転に連動して連続的に行なわれ、
又、板状刃54の研磨は固定ネジ55、押込ネジ
57を操作し、板状刃54を支持体56から外し
て別途研磨済みの板状刃と交換することにより行
なわれる。
本発明の装置により得られるV字型たばこ刻み
Tvは立体V字型であるため充填容量が格段に大
きい。次に本発明によるV字型たばこ刻みと通常
のたばこ刻みについて充填容量を測定し、その容
積から喫煙に最適の紙巻たばこ1本を作るに必要
なたばこ刻み所要量を算出して比較した結果は第
1表のとおりで、通常のたばこ刻みに対する充填
容量の増加率は32%以上に向上した。
