Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase a contrast ratio and to eliminate reading errors by making recording as rugged shape patterns on a transparent resin substrate and discriminating the rugged shape patterns by inks respectively having an optically high reflectivity and low reflectivity. CONSTITUTION:The ink 9 having the low reflectivity to projected light is filled into the recessed shape pattern parts of the transparent resin substrate 8 in which the rugged shape patterns corresponding to the digital information are formed, by which a 1st information recording part is formed. A high reflection ink layer 14 is formed at a desired thickness on the 1st information recording part by which a 2nd information recording part is formed. A protective layer 16 for protecting the ink layer against external flaws is formed on the 2nd information recording part. The recording part of the optical recording medium consists of the 1st information recording part corresponding to the recessed shape pattern of a metallic mold and the 2nd information recording part corresponding to the projecting shape patterns in such a manner. The optical recording medium which has the contrast consisting of the optical reflection difference from one direction of the transparent resin substrate 8 and has the various density patterns is thus obtd.
