るカバリングヤーンの製造法に関する。

カバリングヤーンは、芯糸となる糸の周囲に捲
き付け糸を捲き付けてなるものであるが、捲き付
け糸は、芯糸を挿通する中空スピンドルに嵌挿し
たボビンから引き出されて、中空スピンドルから
引き出された直後の芯糸に捲き付けられる。従つ
て、捲き付け糸のボビンの寸法の大なる程捲き付
け糸量が大となり、ボビン交換のための作業の停
止回数が減少し能率を高めることができ、また、
捲き付け糸の繊度を小とすれば同じボビンに捲か
れる糸長は長くなり長時間のボビン無交換に耐え
得るが、無闇にボビン寸法を大とし糸を細くする
ことはできない。 上記において、捲き付け糸の単位長あたりの捲
き付け回数によつても、作業能率は変化する。即
ち、捲き付け回数が多い程スピンドル回転を上げ
れば良いが、スピンドル回転数はほぼ決められて
おり、そこで捲き付け数を増加するためにはスピ
ンドルを通過する糸速を低下させなければならな
い。それによつて作業能率は低下する。 また、糸の風合によつては、添糸、捲付糸にウ
ーリー加工糸を使用することがある。しかしウー
リー加工糸は、未加工後に比較してボビンへの捲
付量は少ない。このためにボビン交換は早い時期
に行なわれる。

ることにより、及び、捲付糸のカバリング数を減
少させ処理糸速を増大することにより、作業能率
を向上させながら、従来の加工糸と同等の膨化性
を有するカバリングヤーンを得ることを目的とし
ている。

本発明の実施例を図面と共に次に説明する。第
1図Aにおいて、パツケージ1から引き出したゴ
ム糸或はポリウレタン弾性糸等の弾性糸2とパツ
ケージ3から引き出した添え糸4とを引き揃え状
にして中空スピンドル5に挿通する。このとき弾
性糸2はローラ6,7間で適宜の伸長が与えら
れ、添え糸4は、テンシヨン装置8で適宜のテン
シヨンが与えられる。中空スピンドル5にはボビ
ン9が支持されており、ボビン9からは捲き付け
糸10が引き出されて、引き揃え状に中空スピン
ドル5から引き出されている弾性糸2と添え糸4
とに捲き付けられる。ソツクス等に使用する場
合、一般には弾性糸2として20d乃至40dのポリ
ウレタン弾性糸に添え糸4として70d乃至140dの
ナイロンを用い、捲き付け糸10として7d乃至
14d程度の細いナイロン糸を用いている。上記添
え糸4、捲き付け糸10共に未熱処理のナイロン
を用いる。捲き付け糸10の捲き付けが終了した
未熱処理カバリングヤーン11は、弾性糸2と添
え糸4とが並行した状態に引き揃えられ、その周
囲に捲き付け糸10が捲き付けられている。該糸
11がローラ7を通過すると伸長状態が開放され
て弾性糸2は縮少し添え糸4はテンシヨン装置8
によりテンシヨンが一応加えられてはいるが弾性
糸2より伸長率が高くはなく伸長はさほどはされ
ていないので弾性糸2の周囲に屈折しからみ付き
囲繞する状態となり、それら両糸を囲う状態で捲
き付け糸10が締めている。パツケージ12に捲
き取られたカバリングヤーン11は次にウーリー
加工が加えられる。第1図Bに示す如く、パツケ
ージ12から引き出した糸をフイードローラ13
とデリベリローラ14との間で若干の伸長の下に
ヒーター15で加熱すると共に仮撚スピンドル1
6で仮撚を加える。上記の処理の一例としてポリ
ウレタン20dナイロン添え糸70dの場合、仮撚ス
ピンドル回転375000回/分、仮撚数3286/米(S
又はZ)、ヒータ温度180℃、オーバフイード率−
3%である。 上記仮撚解撚熱処理時に、弾性糸2の周囲に屈
折し囲繞していた添え糸4は十分に熱伝達及び撚
作用を受けてデリベリローラ14から送り出され
伸長が解かれたカバリングヤーン17は弾性糸2
の周囲にウーリー化した添え糸4が屈折して膨出
して、所々、捲き付け糸10によつて押さえられ
た状態となりチーズ18に捲き取られる。

かつ、捲付糸もそれに熱固定により絡んでいるた
めに捲付糸のカバリング数は1000t/M以下で充
分となり、カバリング数を少なくすることができ
る。従つて捲付糸捲付時の糸速を高めることがで
きカバリング時の能率を高めることができる。 また、捲付糸の太さを従来方法によるものに比
して半分以下とすることができるために、中空ス
ピンドルに取り付けたボビンにカバリング糸を倍
以上の長さ捲き付けることができ、ボビン交換の
回数を半減することができ、長時間の連続運転を
可能としている。 更に、フイードローラとデリベリローラの回転
比を変更することにより糸の風合いも用途に応じ
て嵩高性を変えることができる。
