Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the simple constitution of a steering system for front and rear wheels and improve reliability by installing a valve mechanism for rear wheels which controls the supplied flow rate in disproportion to the car speed, on the upstream side of a control valve for rear wheels. CONSTITUTION:The inflow port 34 of a valve mechanism VR for rear wheels which is connected to a feeding passage 9 is connected with a pump P2 for rear wheels, and an inflow port 35 is connected to the pump port of a control valve V2 for rear wheels. During the traveling of a vehicle, the pumps P1 and P2 are operated, and the discharge quantity flows into the inflow port 34 of a valve mechanism VF for front wheels and the inflow port 34 of the valve mechanism VR for rear wheels. The pressurized oil which flows into the inflow port 34 of the valve mechanism VF for front wheels flows out from an effluence port 35 through a fixed orifice 28 and a variable orifice 31, and flows into the pump port of a front wheels control valve V1. The differential pressure between before and behind the variable orifice 31 becomes large according to the car speed, and the orifice 31 is closed, and the flow rate to a power cylinder S2 for rear wheels is reduced.
