Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the detection accuracy of a rotating angle by providing a planar drum to a revolving shaft of a rotating member and controlling the revolution of the revolving shaft when the power supply of the device is off.
CONSTITUTION: The disk-shaped drum 13 is mounted to the revolving shaft 3a of a motor 3 which rotationally drives the arm of the rotating member and notches 13b are formed to the outside circumferential part thereof at, for example, 4 points at 90° intervals. A rod 13c as a control member for controlling the revolution of the revolving shaft 3a (i.e., the revolving shaft of the arm) by fitting into th notches 13b is disposed near the outside circumference of the drum 13a. A spring 13d which energizes the rod 13c to the outside circumferential part of the drum 13a when the power supply is off and a solenoid 13e which fixes and holds the rod 13c in the state of detaching the same from the drum 13a while the power supply is on are provided. The turning of the arm is controlled by fitting of the rod 13c into the notches 13b even if the arm is turned by receiving external force during the off of the power supply and, therefore, the rotating angle of the revolving shaft 3a is 90° at the largest. The correction of the turning component of the rod is thus facilitated when the power supply is turned on again. The detection accuracy is thereby improved.
