A density data and a color code from the color separation circuit 35 are subject to color ghost correction processing by a color ghost correction means 300. The density data and the color code subjected to MTF correction processing by an MTF correction means 450 are fed to an output device 700 via a partial color conversion means 500, a multi- value processing means 600 and an interface circuit 40.
