Abstract

PURPOSE:To retrieve data without applying a burden to a central processing unit by executing all managements with a control part until the data having the coincident contents come out after the data are stored into an internal register. CONSTITUTION:The information accumulated for a data base memory 21 is stored, data to be retrieved are transferred through a system bus 15 to a data width converter 23, converted to an internal data width, and stored into an internal register 24. Then a control part 26 is activated and a sequential address is successively generated to the memory 21. The contents of the memory read by the address the compared with the data of a register 24 with a comparator 25. When the comparing result is coincident, the contents of a pointer storing memory 22 accessed at the time point are transferred to a central processing unit 11 and the comparing with next data is executed. The action is executed for all data of the memory 21.
