Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce driving power consumption and to increase a pulverizing speed by mounting a pulverizing vessel into a swiveling vessel so as to roll along the inside wall of this swiveling vessel, housing materials to be pulverized and pulverizing media into this pulverizing vessel and swiveling the swiveling vessel at a prescribed amplitude in a horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical pulverizing vessel 1 houses the pulverizing media 2 disposed freely rollably therein along its inside wall together with the materials (a) to be pulverized. The pulverizing vessel 1 is inscribed with the rolling surface of the cylindrical swiveling vessel 2 of the diameter larger than the outside diameter thereof freely rollably. This rolling surface is horizontally swiveled and while the pulverizing vessel is rolled and rotated along the rolling surface, the pulverizing vessel is circumferentially revolved. The materials to be pulverized which are housed in the pulverizing vessel 1 are pulverized and finely ground between the inner peripheral surface of the pulverizing vessel 1 and the pulverizing media 3 and/or between the pulverizing media by the revolving action and rotating action of the pulverizing vessel 1. Namely, the driving power consumption is reduced and the pulverizing speed is increased with the small-size and lightweight device.
