Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a voltage-dependent linear resistor of which electrical characteristics are good and of small variations, by specifying the angle which the perpendicular to the opposited electrode forming surfaces of a resistor makes with the insulating covering layer forming surface of an outside surface. And, the elementary body is so polished as to satisfy said condition in a polishing process. Therefore, the electric field applied to the elementary body is made to uniform, and the electrical characteristics thereof become good and stable.
