[Detailed description of the invention] [Field of industrial application] This invention is a concrete pile connecting structure, in particular, when building existing piles, even if gas is generated from the ground, it is possible to safely connect both the upper and lower piles. This relates to a concrete pile connection structure that can be joined by welding.

However, in the conventional pile connection structure,
No measures were taken against this gas, so when piles were welded together at their joints, sparks from welding rose up the hollow part of the piles and ignited the gas leaking from the joints, resulting in an explosion. I had something to do.

To prevent such accidents from occurring, it is not possible to erect ready-made piles in the ground where there is a risk of gas generation; instead, a vertical hole must first be dug, and a reinforcing cage frame must be placed inside the excavated hole. The construction method used was to pour concrete into this, in other words, the on-site pile construction method.

However, this construction method is not only uneconomical but also takes a long time to complete, so there was a strong desire for a method that could use ready-made piles as in the past, but also be able to safely weld the joints.

The present invention was devised in order to meet the above-mentioned demands by providing a method that allows safe welding of joints of concrete piles even if gas is generated from the ground when erecting concrete piles. The gist is that an elastic member such as rubber is interposed between the joint end surfaces of the upper and lower piles, and the elastic member is deformed during connection to ensure airtightness of the connection part. This concrete pile connection structure is characterized by joining the joints of both piles by welding.

This circumferential groove 2a is for positioning the elastic member 3 described below and preventing this displacement.
This is not necessarily necessary as long as the elastic member 3 is fixed in place with an adhesive or the like.

The elastic member 3 is fitted into the circumferential groove 2a with its head protruding from the surface of the end plate 2, and is connected to the joint end surface of the pile, that is, the surface of the end plate 2 of the lower pile 1, as will be described later. It is interposed between the upper pile 6 and the lower surface of the end plate 7, and when both the upper and lower piles 1, 6 are joined, it is elastically deformed to form an airtight space between the end plates 2, 7. In order to facilitate deformation, a hollow portion 3a is formed as shown in FIG.

Therefore, to explain the case where the present invention is used as a pile in the so-called medium excavation method, even if gas is generated from the ground where it is being built, this gas will be absorbed into the hollow part 1A of the lower pile 1. rise.

Then, the upper pile 6 will be connected to the upper end of the lower pile 1, but if the lower end of the upper pile 6 is placed on the upper end of the lower pile 1, the joint end surface of the two, that is, the end plate 2 of the lower pile 1. An elastic member 3 interposed between the upper surface and the lower surface of the end plate 7 of the upper pile 6 is elastically deformed by the weight of the upper pile 6, and the gap between the end plates 2 and 7 is reduced by the elastic member 3. As a result, the internal spaces 1A and 6A of the piles 1 and 6,

In this state, the outer peripheries of both end plates 2 and 7 are welded 10 to connect the upper and lower piles 1 and 6 together.

As described above, the pile connection structure according to the present invention is such that an elastic member such as rubber is interposed between the joint end surfaces of the upper and lower piles, and the elastic member is deformed during connection to ensure airtightness of the connection part. The structure is such that the joints of both the upper and lower piles are joined by welding, so even in the ground where gas is generated, this gas will rise through the hollow part of the pile and will not leak outside from the joint. .

Therefore, even when welding piles together at their joints, the welding work can be carried out safely without the risk of the sparks igniting the gas. Once it becomes possible, it produces remarkable effects.
